How did the transfer go and is it easy Hush, im thinking of buying a 32Gb card too and hoping i keep all my saves and stuff, please explain.

Seems anyone can setup a StreetPass relay as long as you can know how to change your network MAC Address. Full instructions can be found here: http://www.reddit.com/r/3DS/comments...ome/?limit=500

Might be able to finally complete more of those puzzle pieces

I've never really taken my 3DS out before but I had it on me at two airports and the train home and got 8 street passes and it got me interested, this afternoon I've been trying to set up an In-Home Streetpass Relay but I appear to have no compatible routers or usb wifi adapters and my phone isn't routed so I'm kind of stuck for an easy solution without extra expenditure just to try and test how it works...

I been able to get it to work only with router that is dd-wrt compatible. I did it for a few days (getting 10 within 15min, once a day), but then the novelty of getting a streetpass notification wore off, and i prefer getting them when out and about

Yea I was out and about today and got 5 streetpass hits in town, glad I went and activated it for all the titles I have now just incase

Hehe my blue light was flashing while i was playing at home i opened my 3DS & discovered a special Mii had popped in for a visit. Shinya Arino of game center CX fame had paid me a visit YAY. Yet to see what puzzle pieces he is holding but seeing as it's a special one there will be a crapload of pinks on him.

For the Japanese deficient it says Arino Shinya of Japan. The closest i'll get to meeting him.

If you sell a 3DS onto somebody else you can include digital downloads as they are tied to the console itself right?

Yes, unless the seller has performed a system transfer.

Here's a question for you (that's probably been answered before...) - what's the weight of the 3DS XL like in practice?

I'm the type who'll lie on the sofa playing handheld games, but I tend to hold the console above me. I find the original PSP a tad weighty for long stretches which makes me think the 3DS XL will be even worse! But that's the if the larger console size doesn't make me adjust how I play in the first place. So I was wondering if it really is a tad bulky or not?

Should get on over to a shop that lets you pick one up and give it a try really...

Ones in shops tend to have that huge metal block attached to the back so you don't steal it. I guess you could go in game and ask to hold one normally though.

As for weight, I have no issues with the weight at all - but I used to with my old DSi LL.

If you're holding it above you though you may have some issues.
