It's been very quiet and I really would like to see Outrun, Streets of Rage 2 or even Revenge of Shinobi.

Digital-only for Dual Destinies in the west was a crap move on Capcom's part, imo.

They spent a fair bit promoting the first game, even if it was a bit of a grassroots import success initially.
I think it's simply that the games are anime-styled graphic adventures/semi-interactive novels/point and click adventure games. Irrespective of quality that has limited appeal.
I'm not happy either; I love the games and really wanted a box to put adjacent to all the others, but if it's digital or no release, I'd pick digital.

Without digital sales we'd never see many games here that currently we have, like take the Guild 01 games. Never would have left Japan but sold individually we got them, thanks to digital delivery.
Saying that you'd rather have no game at all than have a digital copy is downright bonkers.

Your argument is contradictory, and made completely irrelevant, by the fact that Dual Destinies WAS put on a bloody cartridge. So it's not niche enough for Japanese gamers to have a physical version but too niche for western gamers to get a physical copy? Sorry, that's complete and utter nonsense.
Ever since Ace Attorney's golden-age on the DS, Capcom have continually complained about the series not selling enough units. Sorry, but that's their fault for not promoting it enough, period.
I'd be willing to bet that Dual Destinies going digital-only in the west hasn't had nearly enough impact as Capcom would've liked sales-wise. I'd be willing to bet that it didn't make one iota of difference.
Yes, I'd rather Dual Destinies wasn't released here at all instead of Capcom copping out big time and not releasing a physical copy of it over here. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that the days of any more Ace Attorney games coming out over here and in the US are numbered.
