So - I'm only xbox at the moment, and my backlog looks something like this

Wouldn't know where to begin. I'm keen on the idea of this being the first gen that ends with me not having a backlog built up so I'm ploughing my way through stuff at the moment hoping by year end the 360 and PS3 will be done and dusted. Other than that I still have the PS2 and Wii to work through for which there's hundreds.

I think unless something really tickles my fancy (Farcry 3 I'm looking at you) then I'll probably hold fire on the retail purchases for this year and wait until the nextbox is out - and just hope there's backwards compatibility. I really hope there is, as a smooth transition of my current library to the new machine would just be buttery.

Still, not a chance in hell of that happening is there.

Actually I've just added more to my amazon wish list. I'm bloody useless.

I've completely ignored my platform of choice, the pc, this past year in favour of handhelds which has left me with a pretty hefty backlog - for pc anyway.

Slowly working my way through as many games as I can as there's loads of new games I want to play this year!

In order of me attempting to finish...

Walking Dead: Should be starting and finishing Episode 5 this weekend. Picked up episode 1 when it went free and got hooked, which stopped me playing...

Farcy 3: Probably 2/3rds into it. Still really enjoying it but I do want it to end now!

Dishonored: Near the end I believe...I hope. Loved it to begin with but it didn't pan out quite like I expected. The gameworld and story aren't as engaging as I hoped. Still good though.

Max Payne 3: Finding it really tedious but I've reached the second last level. Hope to finish and trade soon.

Xcom: Love it to bits but still early on. Hope to pick it up again soon!

Mine's mainly Gamecube games since I've been collecting for that a lot over the last year or so (couple of other platform titles in there though). That said, I'd like to divide mine up between games I actually intend to complete and the ones I don't. That way my backlog doesn't look so bad.
