007: The Worldwide Sales are Not Enough?

Activision has pulled its Bond games from Steam and its own sites. They hold the license to the series till 2014 but could give it up after poor sales. If they are doing then it'd be good, they couldn't have been lazier with with it. To fail to capatalise on the series and Skyfalls hype is ridiculous.

Does it cost them much to have the game on Steam and their own sites? Seems odd to pull it for low sales given the likely amount of sales if it's not, you know, actually for sale.

I'd suspect there is some kind of licensing/legal issue that has meant they have had to remove them from the web stores, there is no good reason to do it otherwise.

I enjoyed Bloodstyone but everything else they've put out Bond wise has been a bit ropey.

If there that disappointed with the sales I can only suggest making better games. Goldeneye n64 did quite well I hear, played alright too
