Yeah, I suspect people are overlooking it's main function. The only reason it runs android is to provide an OS for the app to run on!

I'd be interested in one, mainly for streaming PC games, if it was cheaper & didnt look a bit rubbish.

only if you are a freak using some kind of backwards - Turok style throwback controls who would opt to use a d-pad over the left analog.

Agree with that, Nvidia vanity item really, but in that respect it's cool. Not really interested myself mind.

I am just reading a thread about the Wii-U pad being hacked.

Sounds like it won't be long until you are able to stream from a PC to that anyway.
That may well be the option I go for, at over half the price.

It looks like a knockoff mad katz controller with a smartphone sellotaped to the trigger buttons.

              *clutches at straw*

Maybe it would have been decent a couple of years back when the pc started getting the first quality ports from 360/ps3?

I reckon if you put a small LCD to this we've got a project shield beater

                                Any other Shield users here?

Probably (hoping) to get a K1 tablet for xmas, anyone got any top tips, game recommend?

Would like a Shield TV as well, looks quite snazzy. Im not a Kodi user tho and the Xbox one is really fandabydozy for Plex and streaming services.
