    Lego Marvel Super Heroes

Warner Bros. has announced LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, developed by long-standing LEGO game studio TT Games and out this …

Newly announced for this Autumn comes TT Games latest release which is headed to all current formats. The game takes place in Lego New York and beyond Earth following the usual game style.

Really liked Lego Batman 2 and so far Lego LOTR is a solid improvement on that. With the WiiU City title looking good also, this should be great.

Loved playing Lego DC with my little one last year. He loves Marvel almost as much as I do, so this is great news for me... and TT games, Xbox or Wii U version for us both to play on and 3DS version for him to play by himself for his birthday. Can't wait to see what characters will be included, Deadpool is already in, stick venom and hobgoblin in and I'll be happy.

        Crikey!

LEGO Avengers would've been cool but adding Spider-man and some X-Men into this could prove superhero overload!

Can't wait. Hope they make the Vita version decent...though I doubt it.

That CVG preview has made this one of my most anticipated games of the year. I really hope they pull it off because it could just be the dream Marvel game i have been waiting for.

Anyone seen any proper hands on or more in depth previews yet for this? I really enjoyed Lego LOTR and City Undercover so I'm trying to guage if this is worth going for during the Xmas months or better leaving for 2014 cheapness.

I was also wondering if the next gen version had any extras? or where going to be any better?

Done a search and the entry that gets mentioned the most as comparison is Lego Batman 2, previews are solid but read as more of the same. Nothing at all mentioned about differences or bells and whistles for next gen so I'm assuming they're just ports. Unless anything pops up I'm thinking I might leave this till new year and hope it drops fast in price like some entries do.

A familiar formula is invigorated by an inspired use of the Marvel licence, leading to a gleefully generous game.

EG scores the game 9/10. Nice
