Returning to FO: New Vegas after over a year (2 i just checked)

I seem to have forgotten where my pad was with all my stuff

I think its in freeside somewhere, but anyone remember where. I've got a backpack loaded up and i know i must have a hoard stashed somewhere.

This is why i try to complete games or never pay them again, think i may be getting too old for this **** now lol

Yeah, Novac with the dinosaur is a good start. It's the first house I was given after doing the ghouls in space mission.

      Here are some other suggestions:
This page lists all player character housing in Fallout: New Vegas. Dino Dee-lite motel room in Novac If a reputation of Accepted is held with Novac, the key can be obtained for free from Jeannie May Crawford. If she is dead, Cliff Briscoe at the Dino Bite gift shop can provide it. If one's reputation is Neutral with Novac the key can be purchased for 100 caps. While it does not have any workstations inside of it, a gas station garage a short distance to the south of the Motel has a workbench an

I've been playing this for months and I've still got the DLC to play!

      It's brilliant!

Been itching to give this another play through on PC since I cleared it on PS3 a few years ago. Such a great story, although for some reason I didnt enjoy the setting as much as FO3.

I was getting really frustrated with this as I was trying to finish the NCR storyline.

The penultimate mission involves an assassination attempt and despite doing every option available and saying I'd completed it, it wasn't telling me to go back to the officer that gave me the mission and the only conversation tree was "Are they safe yet?" and you couldn't say "Yes".

Well, I was about to throw in the towel but looked at the quest list and I'd already started the same mission for Mr. House, so there was some kind of clash.

So I went back to an earlier save and rushed through all the quests asked of me by the NCR (basically killing most of their enemies before being asked to do it) and then re-did this mission.

This time it cleared, huzzah, and I completed the game, but that might be something for you to watch out for when you're replaying it!

I've only got the achievement to "play through the game on hardcore mode" left of the non-DLC ones.

I fancy doing some crazy stuff too like trying to see if I can save Benny from the Legion or killing all the enemy factions, just to see what happens!

If you've not done it yet, definitely go to Vault 11. It's easily one of the highlights of the game for me. It's like a little Twilight Zone story that you have to work out what happened, with a great twist at the end.

Reading this thread makes me want to go back to this... I was about 75% done on this reckon... About 2 years ago I stopped playing because I got pissed off with trying to rip toe around upsetting certain factions and so I just stopped playing... If I was to take the plunge and play it all again I'd probably buy the GOTY edition and have all the DLC available to maximise the entire experience. But thinking about it... There's just so many other games more deserving of my time... One of the memorable missions has to be for me that vault 11

I went totally demonic in my last playthrough and really thought the story was crackin'! Only, problem i had with the game was the constant bugs, for a example it would always crash when I tired get into NV. So, I had to find a certain person who had a special kind of hat which you had to wear while walking backwards into NV.

Reminded me of all the crazy crap I was doing back in the day to revive Aeris or the Tomb Raider nude cheat.....

I've been trying the last few days on this , but i seem to be getting blown away by the quests i've got. The legionaires hate me jsut shoot me on sight, thats if everytime i quick travel and dont run into an assasination aquad of theirs.

I only got to level 20 with about 50 hours and i think i'm remembering why i put it down unlike FO3 which was an obsession for two months.

I actually thought the home space was in a saloon in cheapside? but doesnt seem to be so i just chucked a load of junk in the penthouse in Mr Houses casino (but im sure there was a reason why i didnt use that before)

FO3 just seemed simpler , no factions , one place to store all your stuff and kit it out.

I may restart it again just for the hell of it.

They should put that on the box. "Fallout 3 - a simple game for simple gamers. Made by simple developers".

Actually, depending on how you dealt with Megaton I think you had two places.

I finished the game on Hardcore mode last night after about an hour's game time!

I followed a speedrun video on YouTube and got it done. I've been playing this for nearly 5 months, so I'm pretty sure I've seen all there is to see!

It was quite good fun blasting through it as quick as possible. Playing it properly, I would try to choose the correct speech trees or reloading to see all the options, so it was pretty funny running up to a main character and immediately ending the conversation.

I didn't kill anything, never entered VATs and ran like hell from the deathclaws!

I started the Dead Money DLC at lunch today and I'm loving it so far. This is the way DLC should be done. It's not a chunk missing from the main story, it doesn't need a season pass and it's available on the GotY edition.

Can't wait to find out how the story unfolds...
