Name some PS3 exclusives

Yeah, my PS3 download speeds are horrendous. Often wondered if it's a port forwarding thing or something but haven't actually tried to fix it. My Steam downloads are lightning fast by comparison.

I think its definitely something restricting it, most likely ports or along those lines. I'd be surprised if Sony were throttling certain downloads their end...

For me I'm just running uPnP for both 360/PS3 as I have a router that actually seems to work in that regard. Just going on pure estimation I'd say the PS3 is about 1/4 of the speed my 360 downloads. It is actually quite annoying. I might do some net searching to see if there is something tweakable my end.

Not really had a problem myself with download speeds and I'm on wireless connection on my PS3.

I went to try the Tomb Raider Underworld demo last night.

First I had to download an update to the shop. Then I had to install it. Then once I'd searched for the game, I could only try it if I was a PS+ member. Booo!

PSN is quite slow for me as well. I live in Finland and my connection speed is 4MBit/sec but PSN is about 250-500kb/sec. It makes no difference if I download from Japan/US/EU PSN, AFAIK. I'll check and update if no.

Ps3 download speeds are a lot better than 360 download speeds. Those are horrendous for me.

The discrepancy between people's experiences I find interesting. Could it be a localised problem rather than something server side? I've never bothered tinkering with my router's settings.

I live in Finland too (are you Finnish btw?). I have 10Mb broadband and I get nice DL speeds.

If it is I've got no idea what to try. I went through everything with MS on support, DMZ Server, port forwarding, static ip, and no change.

All I've done for PS3 is port forward it because in the past the PS Store has been a bit of a bitch. But I get faster downloads on PS3 for sure. Quite odd considering I pay for XBL!
