How could I forget Planetside 2! That's what online FPS PC gaming is about, consoles couldn't compete.

Sure they will next gen though

As far as up and coming games are concerned, there is Godus, Star Citizen & Elite Dangerous, and not forgetting Carmageddon: Reincarnation of course.

I might check out planet side but not sure how it will run on my PC, I kept the whole build below ?700 so it isn't a top end system.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I am reading up on all the latest releases. So keep any gems that have already been released coming, doesn't matter if they are old.

You honestly don't need a top end system to run most games on high/v high anymore. I have a 3570k and a 6850 and hardly anything makes it slowdown at all.

7850 here as well so PLanetside2 should be fine for the most part I can run it med / high at 1080p with no issues. Not that I play it at the moment. CPU might be an issue though, as I am using a 3570K.

I recently installed Battlefield 3 on mine even though I finished it on 360 and it looks amazing on PC. Well worth having another play.

If you fancy Civ5 then you should get over to Steam, they have offer at the moment for the Gold edition at ?7.50, brilliant price. Another exclusive is Sim City this Friday, only issue for me personally is Origin and it needs always on internet.

Yeah its a real pain in the ass about the internet thing. After the mess with Diablo 3 im going to at least what a few weeks/months to let the inevitable server problems pass.

Tomb Raider has some stunning graphics and hair physics and tessellation.

Crysis 3 is also a given.

Bioshock Infinite out on the 26th and I read they went all out on the pc port.
