How would you feel if David Hayter didn't play Snake in the next Metal gear?

He has now played Snake in how many games? Six or seven? He is Snake. Imagine if Homer Simpson wasn't voiced by Dan Castellaneta. When they reboot the series and throw all the canon in the bin and create a new Snake, they can get another voice actor, but not before.

i would be disapointed he is one of the people who's voice is associated with a character like kevin conroy is with batman and mark hamill is with the joker

It'd be a shame as despite his other career commitments he's shown a genuine passion for the series and the character but ultimately it's not a hard voice for someone else to replicate almost exactly so from a gamers pov I doubt many would notice if it did happen.
