505 Games have announced that a third game in the series will be released next year on PS3, 360 and next gen consoles. So far that's all that's been revealed including no word on whether WiiU will see a port but quite happy as I enjoyed V2's brief ride.

V2 is but for the first game you're looking at either PC, PS2, Xbox or Wii

Sadly it doesn't look groundbreaking. But hopefully the next gen versions will not be held back by the current gen versions.

I played the 2nd one this year.

Really enjoyed playing it at the time, though instantly forgettable straight after.

It has one killer feature, everything else is sub par.

But what a killer feature to be fair. I think it's a buy and sell quickly, or a rent if you still do that kind of thing.

crawling through endless desert sand doesn't sound like the ideal sniping ground.

i just hope they come up with a better story than just allied sniper hero takes on the infamous Afrika Korps single handedly. it's so lazy and uninspired.

Doesn't really look next gen but the last one was great fun so looking forward to this.

I'm going current gen for this one, there's nearly ?20 price difference and the game doesn't use the next gen power at all. Budget priced eye shots a go go!

I'm thinking of holding off a few weeks as I've not finished watchdogs yet and seeing if it does a "Thief" and drop quick in price.
