i just put the game in, couldn't find any team deathmatch, just 1 deathmatch and 1 infection mode, so played infection with 6 others and an army of bots(10 of them)

i'd completely forgotten the counterstrike buy menu, all the scopes have trigger pressure variables for the zoom (i couldn't work out for 5 mins how to go from max zoom to x2), the 3rd person cover system!, to run you had to put your weapons away by tapping up on the dpad and the massive, the slow turning circle on default aiming, the terrible half ragdoll, half animated death routines, medic packs to revive the dead! the armour that broke off as you got shot.

then the weapons... sword with the bullet shield, the head destroying frisbe with explosion shield, fly by wire missile launcher!, sniper rifle with an enemy radar highlighter for 2nd function,

I played through the first level again and really enjoyed it!

I'm tempted to do another playthrough as it appears I only played it through on easy. Sketcz would tell me off for missing the difficulty-specific tasks on the higher settings.

I think it still holds up and is fun to play through. The faces are a bit plasticy, but it still feels like a Rare game.

Have you got the HD re release of the N64 game off of XBLA?

I wouldn't mind playing co-op on that with someone. I don't have a headset mind, so I'd just act as a superior AI partner.

Also, it's best playing them gradually starting from Agent. You are drip fed the tasks on each new play, and not even I would attempt a Perfect Agent run from the get go.

Perfert Dark Zero was hellishly difficult on Perfect Agent. I never managed it, although my game save is still sitting on a memory card I can't access as I don't have a memory card slot anymore
