PAL Xbox why import?

Don't know about LIVE but my JPN xbox links up with my brothers PAL one for Halo perfectly

We have multiplayer through a hub at our house, (3 rooms connected together), but the kids PAL Halo can't "see" my NTSC Halo, and vice-versa. For all of us to play, I have to use the Video Select Disk, and use a PAL Halo.

Thats what I thought, I was recommended against it by some people in here a while back because I wanted an NTSC one but none of my friends would buy one and I needed some link up. Hmmmmm, is yours US NTSC? Dunno why that would make a difference but it might?

Yep, both 'Box and one Halo are US NTSC. ('tho it's been modded with an Enigmah chip).
