Milestone out of business, president arrested.

This one of those news that you wouldn't expect. In one thread, Sketcz wondered where Vanillaware got money from: maybe like Milestone they diversified their business, and maybe they do it in a lawful way.
Hiroshi Kimura, Milestone's president, founded a bio energy company, MS Bio Energy, and was building a bio-ethanol plant in Vietnam. It has been found out that Milestone was selling securities to MS Bio Energy, leading to the arrest of Kimura.
Milestone's website is no more, and right now the fate of their IPs is unknown.

    What does this mean, exactly?

    More news:

Anyway, not so bad. I watched a documentary on Japanese prisons, and they seem rather comfortable. The rigid structure to the day prevents inmate violence.

Link - and they supposedly broke this by doing so. I don't know the details (nor the ins & outs of such financial endeavours) but it doesn't sound great.

Crazy news! I've never really gelled with their games but it's a shame to see an arcade shooter dev go, especially so suddenly like this - really hope the wrong-doings at the top hasn't ended up screwing any of the little guys underneath.

When I first saw the news this morning I got confused and thought they had a title out soon, but it's Moss & Triangle Service that are in that camp.

I was hoping he'd have been involved in a massive shootout with the police where he dodged all the bullets.

If Sketcz had posted this, that would have been in the title. IN CAPS.

Hmm, I'd better buy those Wii collections before they skyrocket in value.

When I first read this, I thought it was about the company that did the Moto GP games and WRC.
