Bioshock Infinite is very good, but in no way flawless.

Not as a game anyway, which I gather it's suppose to be.

I'm glad I don't buy game mags anymore. Or believe game review sites.

I'd miss so many great games.

I picked up Real racing 3 for the ipad. When I say picked up, I mean downloaded for free. I had huge expectations based on the scores for the previous games. It's dreadful. The steering is broken - it's hard to describe, but I can't turn in at the desired rate consistently. The handling is totally weird. Slew it sideways at top speed and instead of drifting wide, you come to a quick stop. The lack of analogue power I can deal with.

The graphics is jerky which is a massive no no for a racing game. Not sure what fps it's meant to be running it, but my ipad mini feels underpowered.

Also, my son got hold of it and crashed into everything and it took 30 minutes to repair when I next sat down to play. lol.

I have absolutely zero compulsion to pay for repairs more quickly when I can just play something else in the mean time and the game isn't good enough for me to want to find out what the other cars are like by paying for them. Freemium is lost on me I think.

                10/10 isn't flawless.

But it has too many flaws to be 10/10. Or even 9/10.

Maybe, but 10/10 isn't Bioshock Infinite either.

I simply couldn't be bothered with this one either. RR2 was a decent entry and plays well enough on the iPad. 3 though, starts well with the introduction to the Porsche but after that the focus on micro transactions and poor design led to a swift delete. It takes up too much space to sit on there as even a showcase game.

Totally agree. It's the same with movie reviews. Sometimes I just can't understand how certain reviewers arrive at their opinions...baffles belief.

I manage to get 9 issues of GamesTM a year though for just ?3 (?1 for 3 issues), so I reckon it is worth it for that...certainly nothing to cough at.

EA are declaring it a massive hit because it has been downloaded more than the first 2 games put together. But.... DUH! It's FREE!
I'm sure this will be the last one in the series because it will make no money.

Well isn't every game filled with flaws? Far Cry 3 has a few dull missions and can suffer huge lag issue- but gamers still love it. Flaws don't equate the score critics give it. It's solely based on how much they enjoy the game, not how many flaws are in it.

The opinions are put across based on their own personal enjoyment. You can take or leave their opinion, because it's yours that matters in the end, regardless whether you collect them or not.
