    Hohokum [PS3, PS4, Vita]

It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce Hohokum as a Sony Santa Monica project, coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita in 2014!

It?s kind of awesome to be able to finally say that. We have been working away on the game for the last year, maintaining strict radio silence. Before that we had a Hohokum-sabbatical in order to make Frobisher Says for PS Vita. So it has been around two years since the public saw anything of Hohokum ? when it was an IGF finalist and then followed by Indiecade in the US.

But now the cat is out of the bag! I guess it was in the summer of 2011 at Indiecade that our involvement with Santa Monica Studio began. We have come quite a long way since then and they are still the perfect fit to be working with on this game.

    Further info and pics here.

Most of the music is being done by artist's on the Ghostly label.
Ghostly is a record label and art company that aims to provide work of high quality, integrity and individuality.

Including the one on the above trailer from Tycho
As Tycho, Scott Hansen blends swirling melodies into vaguely triumphant arcs that crisscross between stuttering beats and vocal samples, creating rolling sonic landscapes that extend into the horizon. Known in the design world as ISO50,…

                Always cracks me up.

Studio Santa Monica are helping with this, so it's in safe hands.

A new trailer and a bit of info behind the sountrack

Hey folks! We’re back on PlayStation.Blog this week to unveil a new trailer for Fun Fair and chat with two of the musicians from Ghostly International who we’re collaborating with on the Hohokum soundtrack -- super exciting stuff!

Ben Benjamin and Scott Hansen (Tycho) are on the soundtrack to this and its a perfect fit just been giving Scott Hansen's album a listen and it really reminds me of Boards of Canada's stuff cant wait for this now.
