E3 thread 2013, now with timetable

I was there in the flesh this year but am going to try and squeeze in a bit of armchair viewing this evening. There's lots of **** around DRM and the like, but I genuinely believe there are going to be a lot of games announced / shown that I will be very interested in. All aboard the hype train.

I think most people who are worried about DRM will have their excitement somewhat muted, no matter what games they announce. Which is a huge shame. As we enter the next gen, we should be filled with a sense of excitement and wonder, a feeling that our lives won't be complete with purchasing a PS4 or XBOX One. Instead, we're all worrying about issues that really shouldn't have been a problem if the industry actually respected its user base.

yeah i will try to have a keen eye on everything announced for PC and Wii U -- the 2 remaining platforms of an at least partly DRM-free near future.

Are Nintendo doing anything actually at the show? I know about the Direct showing was just wondering if that was all there was.

I think theres some behind the scenes stuff from them and of course they will be there to showcase their stuff on the E3 show floor, but in terms of a conference or anything similar - then no their not...
