I've just watched that first video again and it does look good. Just the fact that every player is showing a different animation and stance makes a huge difference to the realism! Also the ball physics look good too, like when the ball bobbles across the grass as a player make a long pass.

This is finally a new engine for PES. Which hopefully means they can finally flourish on next-gen (and current gen albeit 6 years too late ) and not having to patch up and shoehorn into an old PS2 engine on PS3/360.

Yeah I'll too be getting last of us, looks good and I know what you mean about having less time when you have kids, we've not long since had our 2nd so I try to be very selective on what I play now.

Back on topic i've been playing a lot of PES6 on PS2 with my work mate on lunch breaks and it's still good now, unlike an old fifa game the original PES games have really stood the test of time.

I miss the old tournys on here, even though I was crap.

I'm defo up for PES again this year. I just find FIFA boring and overly intrusive. I also really dislike the whole stupid "make your own celebration" stuff.

The celebration stuff is indeed rubbish. I like Fifa overall, it's still a better product than PES this gen but will be a close run thing this year I feel.

Decided. I'm gonna get it.

I need to get a modern football and slowly put PES 6 to rest.

Will probably get on the PC, and then hopefully PES 2015 (if 2014 is decent) on the PS4.

I just can't use the 360 pad for PES, so it is out. Plus, the PC version will look better than the 360 version anyway, and be much easier to mod.
