Similar to what I typed on the podcast thread, I've very rarely felt anything for people I don't know in real life like celebs, royal family or sportsmen who've died over the years but this certainly shocked and saddened me, I've been listening to his upbeat views on the gaintbomb podcast every weds for years now that i feel like I know the fellow from all his mutterings about regular goings on in his life that i'm actually going miss him.

Gotta wonder how they'll go on without one of the cornerstones of giantbomb.

Really shocking and very sad. Been a fan of GiantBomb for a few years, always watching their quicklooks and listening to bombcasts. Their e3 coverage was the only one I bothered with too. Ryan was a huge part of what made GB such an entertaining site, he seemed like a real genuine guy too. RIP
