    Currently ?2 delivered in Game.

Digital Downloads people, it's the future. Cheaper games all around.
This isn't something that is exclusive to Xbox Live though, just the way the consoles are, they are seen as individual markets with no competitors.
Looking at pre-owned disc games and compare them to digital prices, they will NEVER stack up.

    PS3 Black Ops 2 is ?25 pre-owned, ?59.99 digitally.
    Xbox ?25 pre-owned, ?49.99 digitally,

Still stupid ass full RRP digital titles.
Even if you go back to older games the prices difference are shocking.

Oh yeah sure Steam etc. try it on as well, but they do have a few decent sales. Always shop around, that is the present problem with digital as it will just mean huge monopoly's for Sony,MS, Valve or whoever run the few online stores.

You see, this is why the Microsoft 12 month expiry thing is genius! How many dormant XBox Live accounts have 10 or 20 MSPs on them that people couldn't be arsed to spend? A few hundred? A few thousand? Tens of thousands? When that timer ticks over, Microsoft can do a Gus Gorman and drive a new Ferrari to work the next day

Well that was a close one.

“We are aware that select regions experienced some incorrect game title pricing in the Xbox Live beta,” a Microsoft spokesperson told GamesBeat. “This was an unintended error that we are in the process of fixing. We’ll be reimbursing impacted beta participants for the difference in what was paid and what the price will be after the update is available to all members.”

So it will be corrected but by the looks of it only when the actual update is available to all members.

Might be worth buying stock of points from shops at a reduced rate nearer the time of the currency change then it will work out quite nice.

That's a very thoughtfully worded statement. What the price paid, and the price will be after the update, in other words, prices are going up. Always got my games from xbla as they worked out cheaper, but I have no loyalty to them, I'll get most games from the PSN now as my PS3 gets more use these days.

                  As it stands now.

                  GAME.co.uk

                  400 point code ?3.50
                  800 point code ?6.99
                  1200 point code ?9.99
                  1600 point code ?13.99

                  New prices on Xbox.

                  400 point games now ?3.49
                  800 point games now ?6.99
                  1200 point games now ?9.99
                  1600 point games now ?13.49

So in theory if you buy points to redeem you won't really gain anything, unless you get the cards cheaper than above prices of course.
You could get a quid added here and there but it's hardly worth the effort.
