Most people I've spoken too about Microsoft's 180 turn around belive that it was was always planned, otherwise the changes wouldn't have been implemented so quickly considering the console is already built.

It was a marketing strategy of the "any press is good press" kind. Well that's what people seem to believe now anyway. So I doubt my genius foresight would have helped them sadly.

Sony has won the first round (or more like the trash talk at the press conference before the actual fight) hands down. It's the better piece of hardware with lower the price and none of the Microsoft **** ups as a burden. They have the initiative now, but it remains to be seen if they can keep it. Nothing's decided yet.

          Laughably implausible.

Ah one of those marketing strategies where you piss off your core customer base and then make yourselves look weak and indecisive. They always work well.

The machines aren't even out, how can one be better than the other already?

            Games make a system.

Playstation has more punch and is $100 cheaper at the same time. That makes it much more desirable to a lot of people. Game-wise there's nothing on either one of them at the start. Microsoft has a **** looking Killer Instict and Forza and that's about it. Sony has... has... something rubbish.

The Xbox was a lot more "powerful" than the PS2, look what happened there.

I see this as no different than usual. Nothing at launch that interests me at all and no clear signs of a "winner" for a good few years.

I mean, the Kinect stuff puts me off sure but I'm sure you could do something like put some electrical tape over the camera.

I don't know, I've never really understand all the speculation leading up to a machine's launch. Again, it's the games I am interested in. Reading about features and stuff is nice but have no desire to own something for features alone.

Lmao the fanboy debate starts again.

The fact is, from a purely unbiased point of view, the E3 console announcements were "round one". Sony gained almost unanimous praise while Microsoft gained almost unanimous hate. That's clearly what the headline is referring to, and is a much more level headed headline than the recent EDGE one.

I'm not interested in either of them at launch. But generally speaking there's A LOT more interest towards PS4 than XBOne on gamer websites and the like, because Microsoft has handled everything so badly and Sony has collected the public's good will.

I'm going to design a range of NSA spy covers for them, sell and profit ?10 and that's cutting my own throat.

I was wondering if there's a cheaper way, a sock might overheat it, a condom might work but the lubricant might damage the delicate electronics, tape over each lens looks rubbish so giotech lens covers it is

Funny story my army buddy told me, his mate was watching some naughty vids on his computer, he must of had some nasty malware virus stuff on there, as he was recorded anud blackmailed they threatened to post the vid to Facebook, he told them to fek off, he's now called handy palmer

It hasn't actually filmed you, it's known as Ransomware and it's a pain to remove, we had someone at work bring us in an infected laptop to fix claiming it definitely wasn't her

Oh, a good score for Pikmin, the WiiU could use a boost right about now

Wouldnt microsoft just make it so that 1 sulked and didn't function unless the Kinect had a clear view?
