If Ghostlight can get 1800 preorders in a month they can release Devil Survivor 2 released in the UK. If you preorder you get your name in the manual.

Before everyone goes "Just import, lol", I realise you can import it but wouldn't it be wonderful if this got enough support and instead of waiting years for a game to be released here, we pledged our support for Japanese games and got more day and date releases. Japanese games are the goddamn best and anything we can do to get them released in PAL land is for the best.

Ghostlight ask for help releasing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 on Nintendo DS

Ghostlight have today announced how they plan to release the Nintendo DS sequel to the critically acclaimed Devil Survivor Overclocked in Europe. Due to the challenges faced in the current retail sector, Ghostlight have so far been unable to release the SRPG in Europe despite support from many retailers. However, they are hoping that will soon change as they plan to offer Devil Survivor 2 across the PAL region exclusively through their Ghostlight Webstore. In order to release the title, Ghostlight are asking their fans to hit a target of 1800 pre-orders by Friday the 30th August.

Ghostlight will be offering the game as one of two deals:

Option 1: European Special Edition

Devil Survivor 2 (DS)

This special edition will be factory sealed and include an exclusive folded poster. Anyone pre-ordering the game will also have the option to include their name in the manual, and as a bonus all pre-ordered units will feature a special gold coloured Devil Survivor logo on the inlay.

Option 2: Devil Survivor Bundle

Devil Survivor 2 (DS) & Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS) with a ?10.00 discount!

Both games will be factory sealed and as with Option 1, anyone pre-ordering the bundle will receive the special edition of Devil Survivor 2 and have the option to include their name in its manual.

Should Ghostlight reach their target, they expect to release the game at the end of September. However, if they fail, then everyone who pre-ordered Devil Survivor 2 will receive a full refund while those who ordered the double pack will have the option to receive Devil Survivor Overclocked with the ?10.00 discount.
