Vibeport is better value, but PCVR: https://www.viveport.com/plan/infinity

And there's an offer at the mo which nets you three VR titles to keep: https://www.viveport.com/2023-holiday-sale - might be worth it for Kayak VR: Mirage.

Kayak VR: Mirage is pretty decent if you want to just explore and chill in a Kayak I really enjoyed paddling around these amazing looking locations and just finding points of intrest and ticking them oof the in-game checklist, my nephew worked out you could stick your head in the water too and see under the boat and theirs fish and coral on the beach locations, we didn't do this in the Arctic level as he said the water would be too cold

I'm getting flickering in a lot of titles, even though they're listed as working perfectly on the Quest 3 running via Virtual Desktop at 120 fps (or 90 fps, doesn't seem to make any difference) and it seems to crash quite a lot, sometimes just sit at the waiting screen.

The movement is also quite motion-sickness-inducing in first-person titles - Street Fighter V isn't on the list but is UE4, and I couldn't get that to work. Samurai Showdown was quite impressive (was perhaps the one I liked most), Train Sim 4 had flickering and odd artifacts in the peripheral. Pinball FX just kept crashing, Railgrade didn't really work top-down.

The UI is very clunky too, you have to manually hook into the game, so you have to tab out, set it up, wait for the process to kick in, then start meddling with camera positions, overlay distances, etc - it's not play-and-play.

So I can't really see myself using it - it's still not a replacement for properly tuned VR titles, but it is a far better experience than VorpX.
Nice set of pre made profiles here UEVR profiles - Google Drive

Had an extended play with this this evening. It’s more for tinkerers than casual gamers at this point in time.
Definitely impressive and one to keep an eye on.

Weirdly this game is my favourite PSVR2 title. It's is quite relaxing and looks great. Taping the controllers onto a brush handle would just add that last little bit of immersion!

Can't find anything about Quest 3 getting improvements, that's something that really needs to become standard with new releases

The quest 2 is still the dominant format, so you can kind of understand why devs are still aiming for that as the benchmark. Quest 2 was super cheap over the Christmas period leading to it outselling the 3, in a 3:1 scenario.

And it will keep doing that unless games can show what the Quest 3 actually has to offer over the 2.

From a consumer perspective, the extra £230 quid gets you slightly better textures/lighting in a handful of games. It takes the graphics from PS3 levels to PS3 with better lighting and textures. Compared to PC VR or PSVR2 your getting games that have massive visual downgrades. Saints and Sinners is a prime example of this on the quest, even with the upgrades it received for 3 it looks poor.

with better graphics and no chance of your head setting on fire

This is the hot product among drone enthusiasts, they're using it to transport and store their lithium batteries when it's not it use. It might be worth picking some up and a flight case to store the quest when it's not it use.

Don't think you read that properly

These items will not be in the next patch, but we are committed to implementing them as soon as possible. In addition to this list there are many more things we’re evaluating.
                              • Support for multiple save games
                              • Cosmic Conquest refinements
                              • A Quest 3 exclusive high resolution texture pack
                              • Increased Audio Quality
