TBH its always happened . I'm sure the Mega Drive and Snes still had the likes of Fifa and Maden coming out for them long after the Saturn and PS shipped and well the XBox, Cube , PS3 all had their versions of 3rd games that you could buy on older systems.

What I meant was that back in the day we bought new consoles for new games that couldn't have been made before. Like, say Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire on the N64 for example with the Battle of Hoth, things that simply weren't possible on the SNES. Or Halo on the Xbox etc. Now we have slightly better looking versions of same games that are made with the current machines in mind, therefore they don't take advantage at all for the better hardware. That's my problem, and the reason why I think this gen launch is totally uninteresting.

Don't really get that list from Sony anyway, there's more out on day one than they've put on it. They don't even know their own launch line up.

What amazes me is that in the US the only thing that seems to have an embargoed street date is the console. Stuff like KZ and the DS4s are available to buy now.

Surely that goes some way to undermine a *big launch* where you get everything in one go and hype it to your customers?

Especially as the Uncharted team have been mostly free since the end of 2011. Imagine Sony saying that it'll be out by April 2014!

Id love to see an ps4 hd update of Jack and Daxter with completely re-done assets, the colours would blow your socks off. Probably not the best use of their time but hey ho.

How about they drop Uncharted and start afresh. Three games was enough.

Uncharted 2 and Last of Us are both in my top list from this generation, so a naughty dog game would be great. I fear it might be Resistance 4 though. :/

To be fair to Sony they have enough franchises to keep us guessing.

Maybe they'll finally date Last Guardian.
