The Neo Geo Pocket Colour was the handheld for me. More that I bought one for a friend at Christmas with a copy of the first Cardfighters game, he got addicted than very abruptly stopped playing as he wanted to enjoy doing other things again as well. He was happy for me to have his NGPC instead of mine (covered in scratches on the casing and one on the screen due to severe play whilst travelling daily).

One of the most niche but thoroughly enjoyable gaming machines I have ever owned. It also had the best version of SNK vs Capcom to this day. Amazing.

Most consoles I sold and bought back but the one which I have yet to get back is the Wondermega. Hoping to get it for the price I originally paid but its getting rarer and rarer....

I've bought, sold and repurchased a lot of systems over the years but the console I regret selling most was my white SegaSaturn. Got a minty one now though.
I should never have sold my Armed Police Batrider, Progear and Battle Bakraid boards. Idiot. Would cost a lot to replace them.

I have always regretted selling my PC Engine Turbo Duo back in the day. I will repurchase another one some day...

Also sold an NTSC-U N64 way back too, but that's just annoying as NTSC N64's seem tricky to obtain these days.

Sold my Panasonic Q Gameboy Player for mad cheap years ago and instantly regretted it. Recently purchased another one, though.

Having to sell gaming hard and software for desperate quick cash is/was the worst. I'm glad that those days are largely over now (god willing).

I mostly regret selling my NGPC. Such a crackin' little handheld with some truly amazing games. I still have a few cart only titles (KoF, Metal Slug etc) so when I'm a bit more settled in employment I may try and get hold of one again.

In terms of proper consoles I regret getting rid of my N64. GoldenEye, Mario 64, Mario Kart, JFG, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong, DK64, Diddy Kong, Snoboard Kids.

            Too many good games!!!

Missing my Vita at the moment and always end up SFC collecting at some point, it's cyclical lol.

I don't regret anything. Anything can be re-bought.
                Kept you waiting, huh?

I guess the main issue is if you can repurchase it for anything like the amount you sold it for. I remember selling a pretty decent Atari Lynx collection for peantus ( I am talking 10p a game) to Cash Converters back in the late 90s when I was trying to put the money together for a DC. These days that same collection would cost me double figures easily.

I have never sold a console that I didn't already have another of.

I often toy with the idea of buying a retro console, which I owned BITD. Then I think about all the unsightly cables and XRGB units that I'd need to get one actually running half decent. I then also realise that I'd never actually play it. I've even got a Famicom, an SFC with Super Magicom and a PC Engine that were given to me by my boss. I should sell them on I suppose. Or something.

I never sell anything, I do regret buying a us wii on launch. Doesn't really seem worth selling though.

                            +1

I love playing classic consoles but I hate hoarding loads of stuff ... So if I'm not using anything for the time being I'll sell it rather than store it (unless it's the Nuon or Jag). I guess you can re-buy anything but finding stuff in tip top condition is getting harder and the prices rarely go down.

Right now I have a Saturn hooked up to a Sony Trinitron. I swear it's a keeper. I hope it is

My family sold our Vic20 and I recently gave away my Atari 2600 to Mainvein on here, but I have no regrets.

I have a SNES, MD, N64, Game Boy, PS1 and PS2. Apart from a few PS2 titles (which I play on my PS3), I never play them.
I'm such a hoarder, I just don't know when to let go...

                                All of them.

Right now I wish I still had my GC with collection of oddities.
