1. At the time of Dreamcast launch and getting a Dreamcast Christmas day, everyone opened their presents but no Dreamcast for me, after a while I was trying to hide my disappointment and be humble and then I think my mum pointed to a trail of polystyrene bits leading up the stairs, to which I first found a DC controller, games and then the console right at the top! Awesome times. I got Soul Calibur and Sega Rally 2 and also another controller and VMU. Looking back I'm glad I told my mum about that simply games ad I saw in DC-UK magazine, they were selling them well cheap!
2. At the time of Playstation launch and getting a memory card case of a PS1 memory card with Sony stickers before Christmas from my dad, thinking back; this was probably his way of saying "shutup about it!", my mum wanted to get me a Megadrive!
3. My brother bought a PS2 at launch, my mate was getting his a lot later but got GTA 3 as soon as it came out so he brought it round mine to play early and I'll always remember seeing it for the first time and it was amazing, the graphics, scope and level of detail was amazing - and to think now you can play it on the iPhone piece of 'pizzle.
4. Went with my mum to see my grandma's once, we took a late train home and on the way I was telling her about Resident Evil Zero which had just come out. I somehow convinced her to buy it for me from Toys R Us which was still open and on the way back home. What made it 10x better was that I got a 256mb memory card free with it! Good times.
5. Bit of a "yarr'" one this, but it was when my dad and brother went to the weekly boot sale one morning and phoned me up to tell me about a boot disc and some games they bought for me to use with my Dreamcast. I was dead chuffed, first time I ever played F355 Challenge, even if it was the JAP version!
