Wait, is this "Akiba's Trip" or "Akiba Strip"?

That apostrophe makes a big difference!

Akiba's Trip. But it's meant to be a pun, as you go around Akihabara undressing girls to see if they are vampires or not. At least that's what the first was all about, I'm not sure if the sequel will follow the plot of the first.

About girl vampires, I mean. You can expect a lot of forced girl stripping.

[edit] never paid too much attention to the formats. PS3? I might buy it.

It's both, which is why I wrote it that way.

It is on Vita isn't it? I played the first on PSP and had no idea what was going on.

Certainly slightly perverse. Definitely not worth buying unless you hate money or understand moon runes.

The developers have done a really great job in capturing Akihabara in this...

Akiba's Trip 2 is about two things: stripping vampires (and thus exposing them to lethal amounts of sunlight) and the mecca for otaku worldwide: Akihabara. And as the game sports over 130 stores from the real world Akihabara, I went out and took a few pictures to see just how well the game captured real life.

Not only is this coming west, the Japanese are also getting an enhanced PS4 version. Hopefully that version will make it over here as part of the localisation.

                  Taken from All Games Beta:

                  • Those that will purchase the first print of the game will get a “Character Variation Set” download code.

                  • Overall graphics will be improved and load times reduced. The number of NPCs on the street will also be increased, making the environment closer to the real Akihabara.

                  • A “Visual Editor” will be included, for instance you can create a “cyberspace” wireframe version of Akihabara or change the atmosphere to Summer Dusk, enjoying unusual versions of Akihabara.

                  • Almost all DLCs will be included: the Swimwear set for the heroines will be included from the beginning. In addition to that, almost all paid DLCs distributed for the PS3 and PS Vita versions will be part of the package. “Chibi Mode” will be unlocked after clearing the game.

                  • Interactive streaming will be implemented to enjoy the game together with viewers. When the players is in a pinch and the viewers enter “help,” the main character’s sister equipped in super-powerful gear will come to the rescue. Moreover, funny elements will be available, like “panty jump,” that will make it rain panties on the city.

I'd be tempted to import the PS4 version.

It's cheaper on Play-Asia but I was thinking of waiting for the UK release for whatever reason. Waiting on my Nin-Nin-Game order to arrive before shoving Xrd up on the trade forum and buying the PS4 version. Perhaps put in a P-A order for those two...
