Did any of you read the 'Making of Halo' in Xbox Equip?

It was interesting reading, the were originally designed to have alot more substance, they would of had their own unique AI that'd distinguish them from the covenant as an enemy force. They were supposed to be much more than brainless jumping cannon fodder.
The re-used levels that was bitched about? they were all supposed to have changed when the Flood got out, with wierd and wonderful masses of flood organisms coating the bulidings and landscape, they'd be recognisable, but just to enforce they change the Flood wrought.

And there were little pictures of rhinos on spent shotgun cartridges, only visible through a fully zoomed sniper scope!!!!

I wish i had Halo still.

I actually found it difficult to not complete Halo on legendary, I just had to keep playing it. I've now completed legendary 4 times since last christmas (twice on my own), and I've finally gotten tired of it. Having said that, I can't think of any other game I've played right the way through six times before getting a little weary.

I completed it on Legendary a couple of months back. Some sections had me stumped, particularly the section Marcus mentioned, but rather than give up it forced me to change my tactics & sometimes even improvise. Those guys with the energy swords are pains in the asses, especially when you have 3 at a time. I found it impossible to keep my troops alive during this, but they were handy while they lasted. Wish I could have been rewarded after Legendary though...
