That seems to be many people's opinion, but how on earth would it work on an iPhone or even Vita for that matter - unless they tate it on the Vita like they did with Star Soldier on the PSP. Those were the days.

PSN store or iPhone version of Ikaruga would be fantastic. Have the GC version but setting all of it up is a pain. Resident Evil Remake for that matter also needs a PSN release.

Maybe we will get Ikaruga 2 for the Japanese launch of The One funded by MS.

This is exactly why the iPhone needs an official control adapter with extra battery built in. I just can't stand playing games with touch screen.

Ikaruga is hard enough on a TV screen, let alone having to squint at a tiny phone screen.

Excuse my ignorance, but how does Ikaruga work on a touchscreen? You need to stop firing to chain. The only shmups I've tried on touch devices are ones that just have the fire button down constantly for you, so you just move around.

Might work with multitouch controls; or just a couple of virtual buttons in the bottom left/right of the screen - one for switching between black/white, the other for toggling autofire.
