As the words Day One have become cool I thought I would make a thread to see what people plan to pickup "Day One" for PS4 and XBONE launches!

For me -

Xbox Day One Edition with Forza
Battlefield 4
Call of Duty Ghosts
Watchdogs
Need for speed Rivals

Playstation 4 with SE Killzone


Might pickup Lego Marvel on 360 depending on how the reviews come out and will also pickup one of the NBA games.

Will also be picking up Mario on PS4 launch even though I told myself I wouldn't.

Games subject to change platform when we come to get reviews With the games its down to Xbox One coming out first but if the reviews from the US raise some concerns might hold off on them until PS4.

Vita TV on order!

Killzone pack with cam and extra pad, that and drive club and the other freebies will keep me amused, the extra pad will come in very handy for skylanders which no doubt come Christmas my little boy will be nagging for.

The lack of value on offer from gold subs surprises me still, I've been a subscriber for 6 years without question but sony's splurge of indie and full price games each month has got me playing xbox less and less.

Is the opinion still that xbox live will be the better network despite them both being behind a pay wall? I know the UK has generally been very dominant for the xbox but that's something that's not echoed across the globe with the UK and America being the strongest xbox suporting regions.

Xbox one with Dead Rising 3 and Crimson Dragon. PS4 can wait until next year, more than enough on PS3, plus Vita and 3DS keep me entertained when I can't get the tv.

PS4 camera and Knack pack in February. I'll get Strider, Yakuza and three extra pads at the same time. The controller charging stations and vertical stand too, if they're out. I really don't see the point in buying all available games on the same day. Play one, trade it towards the next. I'll have to settle for Vita TV until then though.

My Dad is getting a US machine for his Blu-Rays. He'll have it on "Day One". Whoever invented that term needs to be put down.

I need to work out what I want next-gen-wise. I have both consoles pre-ordered but no idea of what games I want. Killer Instinct and Crimson Dragon are definites, but I think they're both downloads? After that I'm lost. Maybe Watch Dogs, Dead Rising?

Trying to keep my purchases down next gen, max two main games at a time.

I'll be getting the PS4, can't decide between Killlzone and BF4 right now then resogun, warframe and warthunder, drive club ps plus will keep me busy till I can work out what my next purchase will be.

Assassins Creed looks great but I get the feeling if I wait till after Christmas it will be available for a bit less.

For the rest of the games really need to see reviews or more concrete details, hopefully be more media/information later this month.
