Some interesting thoughts on the game here. After an hour or so of sheer terror every time the alien appears, you end up having a healthy sense of respect for it, learning to keep your distance!

Played the first half an hour of this and was very impressed with the feel of it. Very dark and packed with atmosphere. Could be a cracker.

Haha the guardian, a positive advert you mean?. ARS Technica have posted their review, poor ai and frustrating checkpoints are a few points raised among others like very linear design.

Euro and IGNs reviews read very similar with IGN coming down harder on it fpr being long and too hard for them. Curious to try it, the game still sounds nothing like A:CM so I'm ignoring reviewers references to it. Still seems decent enough
