You will not order, I'm not sure about a sign up.
I think it will be an open beta, what we used to know in the olde days as a demo.

      Hold onto your ass people.
Lococycle is 50% off on xbox one, now ?7.99!
That brings it almost in line with the 360/PC price.
      World class.

In all seriousness this is the third week there has been a weekly sale on xbox one games.
If the continue they will run out of content to put on sale soon.

Rumour floating about games for gold will launch April with Ryse and follow two weeks later with an unannounced indie game.
Saw a dev mention this on twitter and it was gone few mins later. Interesting.
Finished Ryse the other day, it would be a good choice to put out as first game on service.

So they gave away Forza5 to loads of people and are going to give away another new game Ryse? A bit crazy no?

I don't think it's that crazy. They're only giving them away to people who've dropped ?430 on an Xbox and have spent at least ?40 now or in the last year to get Gold. Slinging a couple of free Microsoft published games their way after they've spent ?470 and are most likely locked into years of expenditure on the platform is a cheap way to buy good will.

Those games will be about 2p preowned by March anyway.

First of two updates announced, first update is due Feb 11th.
Marc Whitten has just posted details on Xbox Wire of the next Xbox One System Update that is coming next week. Here are the highlights from the post: On February 11, the first update will be delivered to customers who sign into their Xbox One.  It features many new improvements – including lots of […]

The ability to see and manage your storage space. With this update, you will find it easy to find how much space your content takes up and better manage your content. You can also control your install lineup and more easily manage your download queue. We’ve separated My Games and My Apps into separate lists, so you can easily create separate queues for both. Now you can pick the order in which you want your content to load and we’ve added a boot progress indicator so you can better track updates while they load.

The battery power indicator is back! You can see it right on the home screen, so you can easily track how much battery life is left on your controller.

And, you will be able to use your USB keyboard with your Xbox One.

These are just a few of the many updates we will be shipping on February 11. We’ll share more details on these and other upcoming features in the coming weeks.
Update 2 is due March 4th.

On March 4, in advance of what is expected to be the biggest game launch of the year, we will be delivering another system update to prepare your Xbox One for “Titanfall.” This update will contain many new features and improvements, most significantly to our party and multiplayer systems.
                  Exciting times ahead.

All looks good. MS have a very solid foundation with XB360 and I'm sure they will get the missed features back soon, and no doubt surprise us with excellent new ideas, just as they did regularly last gen. Good news for the early adopter, and very interesting to obverve for those of us on the fence.

Haha biggest game launch of the year. Bit premature.

Looks like they are on track for having all the features ready to go for the tier 2 countries launch.
Will be interesting to what they are changing with friends and parties in March.

Do love the wording, I know they're trying to build the Titanfall hype but this early on it makes it sound like XBO has nothing big coming for the rest of the year. I forget how close this is, but given its built to run on 360 I'm keeping my next gen expectations reigned in

720p on xbox one I reckon. Dunno if they've states specs yet. Reckon it'll look a lot better than the 360 version though. First game from them and hopefully all the effort has gone into making it awesome to actually play.

                              Is this a joke?

                                Nope.

I thought PS4 had similar issues? Although I manged to find game saves and screenshots etc. and back up to the cloud and delete them and stuff so maybe Sony already fixed it or I was mistaken and it wasn't a problem in the first place.
