Going next gen? What are you doing with your current gen systems?

My US Wii is packed away already, ready for that day when you dig out the old system and play Mario kart all day.

I've sold the Xbox 360, it went stale after Halo 4. I do miss my live arcade games tho.

I'll be keeping my PS3 out for a while yet as there's still a lot on the way and PS+ keeps on giving.

    How about you?

Traded in my 360 for store credit as part of saving up back when Gears of War Judgement came out, PS went early last month the same way after finishing Beyond and the Wii went yesterday to a mate. Now just the WiiU remains and an empty space ready for two new systems.

I'm keeping both my 360 and my PS3, but no idea where I'm putting them. I think I might set them up on my desk with my spare 24" 1080p monitor (upgraded a while ago to a 27" 1440p one, so it can be a dedicated screen) rather than keep them near my 60" and clutter it up. I've got far too many games I still want to finish on 360 to sell it, and I'll probably go back to them after launch hype. Keep the PS3 for now just for PSN+ stuff as said, but might just keep it until I finish beyond and infamous 2.

Keeping both PS3 and 360. I've just started Dark Souls again on the PS3 and the 360 is staying for the Cave goodness.

I traded my PS3 and have kept my 360 for my digital library

Keeping them all. PS3 and 360 will remain for a while then eventually be boxed up and stored. Wii U will stay out for the foreseeable future.

I considered getting rid of the 360, but there's Raiden and Futari. I might get rid of the xbox instead - I only really keep that for Rallisport Challenge 2 and although it still hasn't been bettered as far as arcade racers go, the endless appeal was the online mode which is now gone

Well I will be keeping both my Xbox360 and PS3 for sometime yet, still looking forward to Dark Souls 2 next year not to mention how many games I have downloaded from Xbox live and PSN stores, I may well plug my Xbox 360 into hdmi in port of the Xbox One. Infact I will probably end up never selling as trade in values aren't really worth it

My 360 will remain until the 1440 is announced, and to my liking. My Wii stands next to my WiiU because I can't be arsed with a system transfer.

                  I suppose I have room for a PS4 ver.2, one day.

Is there not some inherent input latency with the XBO's HDMI In? Sure I read MS advised against doing it for that reason. I've got Dark Souls 2 pre-ordered for 360, but I'm really tempted by it on PC purely for teh graphicks. Dark Souls 1 looked phenomenal when I downsampled it on my tv from some near 4K res. That plus 60fps...

Oh really didn't know that? I thought that would of been the obvious solution to my hdmi problem. I only have 3 hdmi sockets on my TV and they are all used, I guess I can plug my Virgin box into the Xbox One to free up space on the TV

Why would I get rid when the next gen isn't backward compatible?

If it isn't a money issue, it's madness. Keep, play...and enjoy forever.

It'd be nice if both Sony and Microsoft came out with some sort of HD-DVD style addon for them that'd let you play PS3/Xbox 360 games on the new ones. I'd pay like ?100 to be able to do that.

Why don't you just use a PS3 or an Xbox 360 then?
