My Xbox is generally misbehaving or something unexplained is happening.


power cycle your console.
On the console, press and hold the Xbox button until the light behind it turns off (about 5 seconds), which means the console is off.
After the console has shut down, unplug the power cord and wait 30 seconds.
Plug the console back in and turn it on using the Xbox button. Power cycling will reset the network card and clear the cache.

It's gonna add a **** ton of lag. Wouldn't bother unless you play nothing but turn based games.

Still like to see it in action... Anyone?

It isn't too laggy but forget twitch shooters or fast moving games. It's ok for some games but not really a viable option.

My question. How do you easily purchase games/apps from another regions store? I understand you can easily switch regions now on the actual console but I've heard there is an easier way to add a payment option (ie paypal) via the Xbox site and just do it that way?

Also if you change regions on the console & set it to US you can configure all the TV/AVR options that aren't available elsewhere (in Australia we don't even get the Xbox On command) and then even changing back to your normal region will retain the settings. Seems it just hides them and doesn't deactivate them.

If you go to the payment and billing section if your account on Xbox.com

You will see an option to cable region, once changed, you can add PayPal on their with the option they've recently added
