HELP! - 3DS XL download code only used once?

    HELP

bought 3DS XL Zelda pack sold it to buy Wii U & Super Mario 3D Land

Now Zelda was downloaded using the code. So to make sure it was safe to sell I deleted my e-shop account and formatted the card. Zelda now gone, the download code won't work again so how does the new owner get a copy of Zelda?

I hope there is a solution or I will be down ?40!

You're not supposed to delete your eShop account, just unlink it from Club Nintendo. The game is gone forever.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

Nintendo want the next customer to rebuy all of the games, that's why. If you buy another 3DS, you'll get another code. You can't log in to another 3DS and download anything. Content is tied to a particular unit.

JOe is right, I sold my original 3DS then six months later bought an XL and had to re-buy the half a dozen eShop games I wanted again.

Not unless the seller has left his NNID account on there.

Welcome to Nintendo, drop trousers & bite that 3DS hard lol.

This **** has been going on since the Wii, only people who are not concerned about money will dare risk buying loads of VC stuff. The more you buy the bigger the risk becomes, Nintendo are happy for you to lose it all as they charge you again.

This is one thing that i really don't like about Nintendo, hell even Sony & MS got that bit right with a proper account system. But it will take a long time for Nintendo to follow suit.

It is without a doubt a massive pain in the ass. If you're entering the age of digital downloads, which Nintendo now have, you've got to have an account system in place. Too easy to lose purchases and also far too limiting.
