Should the micro be on the list? It's a GBA. Out of the GB/GBC family, it has to be the GBC and I still have my yellow Pokemon one. A lovely machine that still feels great in the hands. I played Pokemon Pinball to death and yet still haven't completed the Pokedex (only completed the Pokedex for the GBA Pokemon Penball last year). Adored Pokemon with Yellow and Gold/Silver being huge highlights. I actually don't think Gold/Silver has been bettered for me.
Some latter greats, like MGS Ghost Babel (if that's what it was called). And of course all the GB Zeldas are wonderful. Some rubbish too though, like the already mentioned Yoda Stories which I bought. It was terrible.
It's a testament to the machine that I still have one handy with Pokemon Pinball and the Zeldas.

Best memory of it I had was I had went on a bus trip to Belgium and by god it was ****, boring and nothing to do plus a 20 hour bus journey back home (the bus was ****). I was wandering around the town, (looking for a bar) and stumbled in to a little import store five mins later I stumbled back out with a Purple GBC and Pokemon Blue. I don't remember the bus ride home but I do remember eventually getting all 151 for it, including an enforced trip to a game shop in the metrocentre to get a Mew. Good times

Kinda split on this, but I voted for the Pocket as it was the machine that I remember most fondly.
I had a Game Gear, which I was bought for my 8th birthday. I was a big Sega fan as a kid, and I really liked it, but even my enthusiasm couldn't cover up that I knew it was a bit poor. The battery life, as we all know, was terrible, the screen was blurry, and the machine itself was enormous in my hands (though that being said, the Gear and the original GB are approximately the same size). Also, because it was really expensive (even I knew that) and I was quite a clumsy kid, I hardly ever used it outside the house.
I don't remember much else about it, but years later I would trade it in for an original Game Boy with Link's Awakening. This was well into the Playstation era. I took that on holiday to Tenerife with me, and somehow ended up trading it to get a clear Game Boy Pocket. I got a range of games, including Street Fighter II (which was pretty terrible in retrospect) but I remember liking them.
The important thing is that I liked the Pocket so much that I was disappointed with the Color. I remember seeing pictures in the magazines, and when I got the machine, being really let down by how murky the image was (the Pocket had amazing contrast for the era).
It's strange, as I actually would really like a GBASP AGS-101, as I remember really loving the Micro. Was the AGS-101's screen as good as people say? I've never seen one in the flesh. The main thing that always pulls the GBA down for me was that the game distribution was weird in the UK; the games were quite expensive, they were only available for a relatively short time (Castlevania) and pirate copies flooded the market, meaning you didn't really want to shop online.
So I guess the Pocket because it's the only GB that I have literally zero negative memories of.

I really like the Toys R Us one too. Although I'm certainly not upset owning the Famitsu.
