Sadly not the part of Shining series that matters to me (1 and 2). These jap air dash/combo fighters must be cheap to make for Sega to be doing a couple of them a year.

Not based on Shining Force it's based on Shining Blade and Shining Ark which are part of the new (Rubbish) Shining games.

If it's not made by Camelot software and it was a Shining series game made after Shining Force III, don't touch it with a 50 foot barge pole! How low can Sega sink this time around.

Well, that's probably a bit harsh It might be a perfectly serviceable 2D fighter. I think it's just that the licence will mean less to those of us in the West who've not really seen much of the brand for a while. I mean which games got a global release lately? The last I remember was Shining The Holy Ark for the Saturn - oh and some of the characters popped up in Project X Zone.

Tsk, tsk Asura no mention of Shining Force III on Saturn? Shining Soul 2 and the awful Shining Force GBA remake were the last to get a release in Europe. Mind you in saying that both those titles were better than the games that followed.

Looks like a pretty run of the mill Japanese only fighter not worth the time of day, kill it with fire is all I can say.

I hear the first two Shining games on Saturn have translations now. Might be time to get some Shining on.

Shining Wisdom, Shining the Holy and Shining Force III Scenario 1 were always in English on Saturn, you should have already played them speedy.

There is a fan translation for Scenario 2 & 3, but the fan translation is pretty poor a lot of broken English in it. Must admit these days I avoid fan translations like the plague.
