I like the strange style of Wario Ware and there's a new, Japanese copy for EUR 20 on eBay. So I'd have to know if I gotta understand the language to play it properly! It doesn't look very text heavy at all..

The review in Edge 131 (score 8/10) claims that only one level is unplayable because of the large amount of Japanese text.

Yeah, I know, but the review doesn't mention how text heavy the mini games are. Or did I miss those lines?

So only one mini game isn't playable? I guess that's the one also described as unplayable in the local review. But what about the menus etc.? English, Japanese?

I've found 3 minigames (of over 300) are language question choices, and Mona's multiplayer game is unplayable also sadly. And there's the RPG type boss game in the 1player mode. That's about it.

All the menus etc are in Japanese, but it's pretty easy to work them out just by trial and error. Certainly had no problem navigating as demonstrated at Charles' meet a couple of weekends back.
