Games that NEED remaking/rebooting ASAP

I was thinking only a few wks ago why a Road Rash reboot hadn't been made.
GTA IV had a Road Rash style mission which was pretty fun, & i spent a few go's replaying it.

Another one from me - Die Hard Trilogy please!!

Wave Race - Ridge Racer by Namco - Pilotwings - Any of these would be a good start

I want to see Wave Race 64 completely updated with the same awesome physics but all new content and all of the old content. I would buy a console for that.

My wish would be for a remake of the Wizardry VI to VIII trilogy.

Gabriel Knight - Adventure series, bring back the Jamaican ladies voice over too.

The first in the series is being remade by the original creator (Jane Jensen) and Phoenix Online Studios.

This one got the 'HD remake' treatment recently but wasn't very well received. I haven't played it but, from what I've read on it, I got the impression of a lazy port...

I'd go for a reboot of Body Harvest.

A handful of sprawling historical settings realised with Red Dead Redemption levels of detail, populated by great massive aliens and a day-glo orange space marine. Loved all the vehicle based puzzle solving and exploration in that too, and hey ,why not throw in some Red Faction style destruction physics for good measure. I probably think too much about these things.

Sky Oddysey on PS2 just randomly popped into my brain then too. I'd love to see a mega pretty update of that.

First. I thought the second was inferior in every way.

I'd love to see a Ring of Red reboot. Great storyline and tactical gameplay in that bad boy.

I think it's high time to do a proper reboot of The Silent Hill series. Konami should stop outsourcing the IP to outside devs who ruin it. (Homecoming was just awful, and Downpour didn't really feel like a proper Silent Hill game imo). However I've lost absolutely all faith in Konami after they let the atrocity that was Silent Hill 'HD collection' come out.

They did a proper and very clever reboot with Shattered Memories. And then just went backwards from there. Shattered Memories should have made it to all consoles and should have been the start of a whole new direction for the series.

I don't fully agree. Shattered Memories was very good in places and felt like more of a detective game but the action sections were appalling. Plus the separation of the two parts jarred badly as you always knew when you were safe.
