The original HST-3200 is so much nicer than any other Saturn.
Naaaaah I had a Flash White Saturn when I lived in Japan, but I foolishly (well, sensibly really) sold it because I couldn't fit it in the various boxes I was sending home via freight. Really wish I'd kept it.

I always liked the matte white thing it had going on. Then again, I had the ceramic white PS2 at the time too, which was similarly wonderful.

**** me, white Saturns cost a ****load The one I had in Japan was bought at my local Hard-Off for about 3k yen (?15-20 at that exchange rate). It was boxed and bright white! Half the ones on eBay are practically yellow.

I only ever really play desert with manual Toyota so to me it's 1 track and 1 car

But yeah, I did the cheat to try the Stratos and Lakeside. Lakeside is a bit of a misnomer because the track is pretty much 90' turns!

Yeah I paid ?60 for one recently (sold on) and it had a 2500 yen sticker on it. :/

Cost less than ?50 for the three.

The lakeside track is actually ****. Absolutely no reward for getting there.

It's certainly no Forest, though then again, isn't the third track called "Mountain" when it should really have been called "Urban"?

If I was going to get one that wasn't Flash White, it would be Euro, black, type 1 (oval buttons) - just for the ultimate nostalgia kick of matching the machine I got for Christmas 1995.

I have two thirds of that photo.

Oh, actually, I don't. My black Saturn has the round buttons. Had to exchange mine at one point in the hopes of fixing Myst which, weirdly, had a game-breaking bug that for some reason only occurred with the first UK Saturn models. Actually I must google that to see if it was a known common occurrence (managed to isolate it back in the day with whoever published the game - can't remember now who that was).

Isn't it XYZYX for the Stratos? Something like that. I used that car exclusively, much to the annoyance of my friends who couldn't control it.
                    Kept you waiting, huh?

Thanks to Sega Rally that's probably my most exotic dream car.

All my other dream cars are reasonable and easily achievable.

The Stratos is, I think, one of the first examples of a car in a racer that I really needed to spend time mastering. Usually selections are just related to acceleration and top speed but it was proper tricky to handle at first but worthwhile.

Well, the Stratos and 2WD in Stunt Race FX

What a mare the 2WD is!
