Mario Kart: Double Dash Has Skidded In

Received my two copies of MKD from TheRage.com today. Got the bonus disc included in the same box. From what I've read, I think there was a slight delay in the shipping of MKD US/CDN to stores.

Also received Mario Party 5 at the same time.

Package was marked at $9USD, so there was no hassle with import duty.

Yep, am thinking of ordering 1080 too and Metroid - I sold it when I sold my Platinum US cube. Although, come to think of it, I didn't even put an hour of play into it...

Well i am the first to admit that im sarcastic yes and maybe it comes out as being rude but imagine then how many people on this board you think have recently received a US copy of MKDD? Im guessing at quite a lot.

Imagine if each and every one of them started a thread when it dropped through their letter box. It would be chaos / meltdown maybe.

Admittedly i was ecstatic when my copy arrived but then i chose to post a message in the official thread saying something along the lines of "Woo mine arrived this morning"

Sure it was a mistake of pendragon starting the thread but to be rude was out of line and Ginza being a long standing member should have shown some respect. The end of the day it's upto the moderators to have shown pendragon his error and closed this thread. Just think Ginza, if you had handled it better then this thread wouldn't be plodding on

In cases like this it is always best to show courtesy even if the mistake a poster makes is one that has been repeated x1000 times in the past ( this example doesn't quite reach that figure, just trying to be dramatic ), as I'm sure there will be quite a few more errant threads as posters adjust to the new forum layout.

Show some good will, 'tis the season....and so forth.
