Apparently coming out June 27th on PC, PS3 and 360 is Codies next racer. Not much detail as yet but given the quick turnaround I'm expecting Grid2's engine is being used to knock out a quick expanded follow up.

Pre loaded it off the us store last week for 30 quid, just played an hour, it's really good, I started a touring mode in career mode and it's great,

still don't understand why it's last gen, but it's still a great final edition to my ps3 library, very impressed so far.

Yes reviews seem to be averaging 8/10, as I said months back, shame it wasn't the series first venture on to PS4/XB One.

I saw a video of the cockpit mode and wasn't impressed. What's it actually like to use with all that blur?

Yes, it's a shame the interior is lacking but a game can be more than just the cockpit mode and the content and driving model look superb. Also, I believe the cockpit mode has a few variants so you don't have to look at the wheel.

I'm actually thinking this has one of the tightest and finest car and track selections in any racing game.

The default mode is outside the car and it looks great, I'm 4 hours on and have done three different types of racing and loving every single minute of it, get it would be my recommendation folks.

P-A say the US version is region free so I took a punt on the Pal version and can confirm it is too.
Touring car races are a joy.
