MOTHER F``KER!! Bloody stupid Japanese Xbox video. I can't watch it at all. Sign in to Xbox video and it instantly takes me to the Japanese store. Fine I thought, I'll just click on the dash link. So I do that and I get the message saying my Xbox account and physical console location don't match so I can't watch the video. I pray that someone uploads it to YouTube or something What a kick in the balls. I was so much looking forward to watching this.

Finally watched this yesterday, thought it was really good, it's not just about ET but Atari and gaming in general around the early 80's. Certainly be of interest to anyone who was a kid back around 1982.

Yeah it's pretty good and nice to see no one in the video blames Howard Warshaw for the collapse of Atari due to that game

Being honest I was a little let down by it because they history parts where fine but the actual excavation was hardly covered and throughout the programme they went to the desert for fleeting moments

It was shocking that on Howard's first day he took weed to work as an ice breaker with his new colleagues and was offered cocaine

But he seems an intelligent man since now he is a therapist, a video game engineer therapist

Not sure if anyone has seen the latest Ben Heckendorm video on youtube, but he picked up a couple of the carts from the excavation and cleans them up to see if they still work...

E.T. is on the telly at the minute. I thought it'd be a good film to watch with my three-year-old, but it's not the version you can show before the watershed as there's all sorts of rude words in it. Thankfully my son didn't ask what "sh*t" means!

It appears to be the original version without all the CGI meddling too.
