Surprised I couldn't find a thread for this.

Tecmo Koei are making Dynasty Zelda Warriors. I personally think it looks really cool. I like the DW games and this is nice and bright and bold looking.

Whilst another Zelda title is always interesting to see, I doubt I'll like this. I'm a massive Gundam fan and I didn't like Dynasty Warriors Gundam, because I felt that it was too much of a DW game, rather than really attempting to fuse the two.

I've always felt that the DW games need to consistently have proper, full-on, campaign, no-concessions co-op. Like I could genuinely boot up the game for the first time with another player sat next to me, and we could play the entire thing - all content. No ringfenced modes or extra scenarios or specially made content - just the actual game.

Pretty sure Dynasty Warriors 3 had this, and I really enjoyed it, but every title since has been a mixed bag.

Wasn't long ago I tried DW8 and though sacrilage to fans its still too much of a PS1esque game masquerading as a current gen game. It should have and needs to come along so much in execution that I just don't see why Nintendo signed off on it, I don't think it looks particulary better than a reskin of DW and doubt it'll do much for Zelda's reputation. Obviously, can't say I'm interested

I'm not sure how you reach that conclusion. It's a Zelda spinoff by a totally different team. The next "proper" Zelda game will be on the way regardless.

I just hope Nintendo release the SNES Zelda LttP on the 3DS eShop. I still can't believe they're released the 3DS title, made many comments about it being a sequel, and didn't provide a way to buy the original.

Tried the Vita Dynast Warriors game recently. Bored after an hour and also didn't really understand what it wanted me to do.
