Payday 2 is getting an enhanced edition for PS4 and XBO. The new version adds some extra features and bells and whistles as you'd expect.

Got it via PSN+ recently but didn't get far as the regular community is horrid. The first was fun but I was quicker on that one. Not sure I'll bother here.

Overkill has committed to two more years dlc for the game as support rather than start on Payday 3

This is such a good game but my multiplayer crew didn't take to it. The gameplay is excellent but the meta game of super expensive unlocks killed it for them. I love it though. Hope more people give it a go.

Another update to the game has led to another fanbase uproar and the Steam Community mod team has quit as a reponse to both the abuse they recieve and the devs updates.

It's interesting to see the franchise slowly implode after so much success. Stupid decisions.

Starbreeze are to restart DLC development for Payday 2 and will also be undoing their prior commitment to all DLC being free with new content being monetized. The first will hit next month.
