Surely the worst year one of any home console generation ever, no?

I bought an xbox one, but more to do with familiarity than game line up. There wasn't anything on the PS4 to sway my decision, but that's not to say the xbox one had any gaming advantage. Titanfall was it really, but now that it's here, it's no Quake III. Even the Wii-U list looks very limp. Does The Wonderful 101 give it the edge?

Tricky to know when There are a bunch of games nobody has played yet or haven't been announced.

I've been really happy with what we've had so far, plenty to see and do, could just do with some more compelling and unique experiences.

The availavility of titles for both machined has been great, especially when you consider these sheer volume of multi platform stuff that you can buy too.

More like worst thread ever . The Xbox One and PS 4 haven't even been out a year yet.

Indie titles aside, a shameful amount of original and exclusive content.

I'd need to check the dates on all those games, I know some don't qualify as they were out on current gen at the same time and some fall slightly out the 1 year cut off. I was somewhat forgiving on primarily next gen titles with current gen versions cropping up (especially if outsourced) but vice versa they don't qualify

Ultimately I went XBO, it's solid if not wow factor stuff. PS4 is pretty weak on that front and WiiU is fairly drab, especially by Nintendo launch year standards.

I can't bring myself to decide yet as the first year is not up yet... Although it's really hard to choose at the current rate as to me there still isn't a 100% killer title that I must own straight away this gen.

Well its a landfall WiiU win, but its been out much longer and most of those games were out more than a year ago.

this poll should wait another 12 months.

Gonna say here that I'm not going to vote, as I have no preference. Leaning toward the WiiU from those lists, but even that lacks that certain something.

The comments above are right; people might have debated the Xbox/PS2/Cube but any one of them was better than those three.
