Legend of Korra - Platinum and Activision

Platinum are working on a Nickleodeon license with Activision.

Could be awsome the last air bender was an awsome show with a fantasticly realised world and characters. only watched a bit of kora but it's set in the same world this so could be awsome. It's a series that's well underway so it's not a cash grab tie in at least.

Obviously fuse is talking about Activision.

While I don't care about Avatar I can see the potential of combat mechanics in that universe.

Not a system seller for me but even so.

This might be the first bad Platinum game. Gamespot review is 3/10 and IGN is 4.2/10.

All you assholes that don't buy great Platinum games and dump money into garbage made this happen. Now they have to develop quick cash in license games for Western publishers.

Wait, how are we more responsible for Platinum making a ****ty game than Platinum?

                Destructoid gave it a 7. http://www.destructoid.com/review-th...a-282722.phtml

Gamespot think Bayonetta 2 is 3.33 times better than this.

If more people liked good (Platinum) games and bought them instead of whatever mediocre shooter just came out they wouldn't have to resort to making deals with Activision to pay the bills. I obviously don't know the development details behind Korra but I assume it is a quick turn around project developed on a minimal budget with little regard from the publisher about the quality so long as it hits the dates. Platinum have a proven track record of greatness but there is only so much you can do to a game under certain time and budgetary limits.

Just like the licensed games I've worked on

Yeah, trusting IGN reviews...Destructoid is also very generous with their votes, I would wait for more people to publish their reviews.

Yeah, I hope that a few more sites have nice things to say about it. I'm not trusting the IGN and Gamespot reviews completely and damning the game, just upset with the initial word on it.

I wasn't really expecting much from it due to the publisher.
