    The Walking Dead: Season Three

Telltale Games has confirmed that there will be a third season in its Walking Dead series. No release window has been given but I'd expect late 2015 at the very earliest

Still not played through Season 1
Which I will admit I find awesome, just time to enjoy it is hard to come by these days

I've played all of Season 1 and up to the 4th part of Season 2 so far all on the 360. I really love the series however I do think that season 2 is lacking at times compared to season 1. That being said, it's still great. So much so that I'Ve ordered season 1 and 2 for the XBOX One from Amazon US. They should arrive just before my Japanese XBOX One does.

I've given up on the series...3/5ths through a S2 season pass.

...making the switch to Vita and Telltales shoddy programming has made the touchscreen action parts more frustrating than Dragons Lair.
Even when you do it right you need the game to realise you did and not just kill you. Nothing ruins the flow than 5 deaths on the same part because it won't recognise a left swipe!

The Android version works well. Maybe it's just a poor port to the Vita?

Ios and droid versions are fine. The rest all run like ass.

Not surprised that it runs like silk on mobile and tablet devices but debatably on VITA. Shame as it still looks nice and the characters experience nice growth as you play through the chapters.

I guess as long as its popular and sells well Telltale Games will continue to makes the seasons. Tbh I would like to continue the journey with Clementine as she grows up in the brutal world, maybe split the next set of chapters between her and another main protagonist (or antagonist even?) How would players feel if they got to play a chapter as someone equally horrible and vicious as Carver? I think it would shake up the gameplay in a good way myself.

It would be rather interesting to play someone like that.

I accept that our decisions don't really impact that story that much but I'd like the illusion of it to be more like season one. Right now I know if I've a choice to save a character that character becomes a nobody till their inevitable death later on.

Hey Shaffy, I wouldn't totally disagree with what you've written there. It was annoying in season 1 when someone you saved early on was killed off in a supposedly 'shocking' way a la George R.R Martin with his characters in Game of Thrones but tbh I find those situations more frustrating rather than "wtf why did that happen?"

Season 2 has done quite a good job of not following the same path so far (as of the end of Ep.4) with most of the deaths fitting the narrative and setting pretty well (one of them was very well timed and justified from my POV). There's still one more episode for things to get truly fubarred though but I personally would like to see Clementine live. I think she deserves a chance to survive in the game's world if she wants and has the will to, rather than Telltale trying to be dramatic and 'shocking' by giving her a drawn-out but lame and inevitable death by the end of season 2.

I think beyond the above my only wish for Season 3 is they let players play as a villain/antagonist (or any of those characters from 400 days like Vince or Shel) for at least half a chapter, just to allow things to be changed up a bit rather than what was captivating in Season 1 becoming formulaic and predictable (i.e Clementine meets a group, they don't trust her to begin with, she gains their trust, something unexpected happens, accusations get thrown around, guns get pointed at people in the group and characters get killed off to make way for new characters to enter the story). Give us more long-term survivors that we like spending time with so if and when they meet their end its super painful (like at the end of Season 3 via an epic exit or something). Just some ideas anyway but Telltale is probably focusing on the financials and profits now, so...
