Saints Row IV: Gat out of Hell

GamesRadar+ takes you closer to the games, movies and TV you love.

Deep Silver have hinted a new Saints Row release may be being revealed at PAX. It could end up being something other than V but they come around frequently and a reveal now with release late next year would fit the series. The question is where to take the series after IV's superhero hijinx

I've only played the second one - worth hunting for cheap copies of the others?

Saints Row 3 is more of the same except even more ridiculous and probably the better game of the 2.

Saints Row 4 throws it all out of the Window and turns it into a Saints Row Version of Prototype. Amazing fun, especially in Co-OP

I think the first one gave the series a bad name because it was such a bog-standard GTA clone, but subsequent releases have been hugely entertaining. Looking forward to this, the image suggests it's the Saints vs the underground\hell\ghosts, which could be amazin

On a side note - DeepSilver are doing really well as a publisher. Unusual to see growth in the industry.

Agree about Deep Silver, some smart aquisitions and solid products. Liking their work

Truly awful game, yet still less reviled than EA

Certainly they don't have the best track record but they also have some amazing IP's and quality games. I guess at some point they will re factor these more average games as not creating enough profit but hopefully they will still take a chance instead of like with EA/Acti where they trot out the same stuff yearly.

Turns out this is a HD remake for PS4/Xbox One and a sort of stand alone expansion of IV, oh well.

I didn't buy it because in the quick go I had the last gen tech was holding it back too much for my liking. Tearing and pop up scenery.

Loved 3...so if they have shinied it up nicely enough I will buy it. Tho 2015 is looking busy.

Looks like a lot of fun imo.

Will probably get it on 360 if the price is right

Quite happy with this, wasn't expecting a new full game this early, but also glad it isn't just a 1080p update of IV. IV was tonnes of fun, so a standalone expansion, in a similar vein, that I can use on my Xbone is great with me.

I want to co-op play through IV on 360.

What's the cheapest way to get it?

(looks at k0pp0 to see if he's keen too...)
