Taking into account all the spin-offs, here is Ubisoft's 20th AC game in just 7 years. If you purchase the season pass for Assassin's Creed Unity you'll receive various dlc but also this stand alone 2.5D title which will presumably be sold separately at some point. You play as a student of Ezio from the AC2 games, in China, during the 16th century.

Mr.s Chopemon is working as an artist on the China game. The art has a really nice style to it. The trailer doesn't show it off but it (according to her) really great parallaxing and depth.

Latest update is that Chronicles is now three entries long and the the China entry will be out in April. Later in the year a second entry will release set in India followed by a third entry in Russia in 1918
